Job Description:

Under supervision you will operate all equipment within the manufacturing process applicable to the department. Roll various products such as cylinders half cylinders and weld pads using materials ranging from thin gauge up to 2 thick steel sheets. You will participate in pre and postplanned readiness of parts and tools performing preventive maintenance and assisting with installation activities as directed by the lead man or Production Supervisor. Roll Cylinders Ensure operations of equipment by completing preventive maintenance Maintain supply inventory Participate in housekeeping activities as directed by lead and/or foreman. Participate in installation activities of components as directed by lead man and/or foreman. Assist departmental team members in completion of job functions as directed by the lead man and/or Production Supervisor.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience operating plate rolling equipment. Must be able to read and interpret tape measures and measuring devices. Experience in operating electric and hand tools as well as being able to be trained or have experience operating a variety of automatic material processing equipment. High School Diploma or GED minimum requirement. Must have physical stamina to stand 8 or more hours per day and operate welding equipment. Must be able to lift / maneuver 50lbs unassisted using proper safety techniques and/or equipment. Position requires standing or walking most of the workday and frequently involves stooping and kneeling.
