Job Description:
- 3 years of relevant experience developing Roku apps with Bright Script
- Experience working on apps that support linear video streaming and VOD content
- Experience with working on a wide array of Roku devices and a good understanding of their limitations
- Experience in ensuring apps meet requirements for Roku certification
- Experience with RESTful JSON feed consumption
- Experience with Git
- Experience with the latest development paradigms regarding performance security and coding best practices
- Strong knowledge of design patterns
- Strong knowledge of Roku native UI components like Row List Markup Grid Markup List
- Good understanding of threads in Scene Graph and optimizing rendezvous between task threads and render thread
- Good communication skills with different types of stakeholders such as QA Project Managers and Product Owners
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with using the Google IMA SDK and player is an added advantage
