Roadway Design Engineer Lead

Growing Chicago firm is looking to add a Roadway Design Engineer Lead for their Chicago Illinois team!

Responsibilities:

• Develop construction documents calculations exhibits reports and other supporting documents for various project phases
  
• Perform/supervise the development of plans and specifications for transportation projects
  
• Lead teams to accomplish assigned tasks
  
• Preparing contract plan standards and specifications for IDOT ISTHA CDOT CCDOTH among other transportation agencies
  
• Coordinate project tasks with client and engineering department
  
• Participate in professional organizations and events
  
• Coordinate tasks/project schedules with team members
  
• May be required to work independently to complete tasks
  
• May develop/review cost estimates and quantity calculations
  

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field
  
• 8 years of relevant experience
  
• Strong operating knowledge of OpenRoads Designer MicroStation Power GEOPAK SS10 ProjectWise among other Bentley products
  
• IL PE Required or ability to transfer PE License to IL
  
• Roadway Plan Preparation experience
  
• Familiar with IDOT Tollway CDOT and CCDOTH standards
  
• Proficient with Digital deliverables preferred
  
• Strong operating knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
