Risk Management Specialist - Germany

Your mission

The Risk Management Specialist is primarily responsible for the management and monitoring of exceptions in shipment including process optimization and reporting. Managing the companys credit and collections processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit analysis collections and customer service. They will work closely with project accountants sales team and project managers to establish and maintain customer credit limits minimize credit risk and ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.

• Exceptional Shipment Management Oversee and manage the handling of exceptional shipments. Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with abnormal deliveries.
• Compliance and Policy Adherence Ensure adherence to established risk management policies and procedures. Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Manage the companys credit insurance program; coordinate documentation among customers insurers and Sungrow
• Review and analyse aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and initiate collection efforts
• Maintain accurate and uptodate customer records in current system
• Communicate with customers regarding payment status and payment arrangements
• Work with internal departments and accounting to resolve customer issues and disputes
• Provide regular reporting on credit and collections performance
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide recommendations for change

Your profile

2 years of experience in Law Finance Auditing International trade or related field
Basic understanding of credit insurance and risk management
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of credit laws and regulations
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Education or Desired License and Certificates:
Associate degree or relevant certification is a plus
