Talentry is looking for a skilled RF Design Engineer to work with our team in Poway to design cuttingedge wireless technology including newproduct development prototyping etc. The right person will use their experience with antenna design filter design RF Test equipment and radiosystem accessories for LEO and military applications.

The right engineer will use simulation and design tools both commercial and inhouse to design prototype build and test next generation RF antenna technologies.

Requirements

Requirements:


BSEE or similar experience.

US Citizenship is a requirement.

Proven RF Antenna Design experience.

Proven proficiency with EMsimulation tools schematic capture software microwave circuit simulation CAD modeling Genesys/PathWave Synthesis and SolidWorks.

Experience with antenna measurement techniques covering Smith Chart Sparameters nearfield and farfield pattern measurement. Strong knowledge of antenna design principles across a broad spectrum particularly with a focus on HF/VHF/UHF and sub10GHz design.

Experience designing antennas for any of: handheld radios base stations manned or unmanned ground/air/sea/underwater/space vehicles a plus.

Experience with designing/tuning some or all of the following: half wave dipole full wave dipole collinear antenna dual polarized antennas vertical polarized omnis horizonal polarized omnis dual/multiband antenna patches sectors/arrays concealments UAV antennas hemispherical antennas directional antennas horn antennas pcb antennas microstrip antennas slot antennas circularly polarized antennas quadrifilar bifilar GPS or other GNSS antennas.

Familiarity with RF test equipment such as VNA spectrum analyzer and signal generator.

Proven communication and documentation experience.
