Retrofit Tutor Assessor

Type: Classroom delivery within Greater London Hubs

As a Retrofit Tutor you will be required to design and deliver training and professional development opportunities for unemployed individuals looking to upskill themselves in domestic retrofit. You will share your knowledge and expertise with learners that are looking to gain Retrofit accreditation.

The role is an incredibly rewarding one but attention to detail is a must. That s because the majority of the delivery will be supported through the use of Government funding which means you need to ensure an accurate record of data entry onto all systems as required by the department and management to enable accurate and full reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

To deliver outstanding quality learning to young people and adults

To fully understand our quality improvement systems and processes and apply these to your delivery.

To deliver both accredited and nonaccredited courses to standard.

Maintain a highquality professional service ensuring all work promotes the Group brand aims and objectives.

To fully understand and meet compliance requirements in accordance with each contract s requirements.

To contribute to course development design and implementation to produce high quality learning materials.

Positive communication with learners team members ensuring business needs are met

To always set an excellent example of customer care to all.

To consistently keep up to date with industry standards and upskill where necessary through additional training / CPD opportunities.

Attend and participate in regular standardisation meetings.

Meet and review monthly KPIs relating to the delivery department.

To take an active role in managing risk health and safety and safeguarding issues.

Essential Skills

A real passion for high quality education and learning effectiveness.

A good understanding & previous experience of teaching or working in the retrofit and renewable sector. e.g. PV solar Panel EWI IWI Cold roof.

Excellent digital competency skills written verbal and presentation skills.

Relevant industry experience or qualifications minimum Level 4

Teaching Qualification and assessor qualification is desirable

Desirable Skills

Knowledge and understanding of curriculum delivery requirements that can be supported by facetoface blended and distance learning.
