Teamworx is recruiting for an experienced Supermarket Assistant Manager to join our client which is a high convenience and niche food supermarket group located near Dublin City Centre and is accessible by bus route from all areas of Dublin. As the Assistant Store Manager youll support the Store Manager in overseeing a vibrant flagship store with up to 35 staff ensuring exceptional standards and driving profitability. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced grocery professional ideally from a highend restaurant convenience or supermarket background ideally of similar standards and knowledge of fresh food products.

This group has a great retention among their teams but equally a great track record of producing highly competent retail leaders with a vast understanding of the market and merchandising standards and equipped with all the necessary skills to run a diverse and complex retail business.

The job will offer :

• A salary of 40000 up to 45000 DOE

The Requirements for this Grocery Assistant Manager Job:

• Proven experience in a management position within a fastpaced retail food grocery big box or convenience store setting is a must.
  
• Knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Excel Word).
  
• Experience in cash management till management and cash office would be an advantage but not essential.
  
• Previous experience managing big teams is vital for this Assistant Manager job
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
  
• Experience with back office management proficiency using epos technology to analyse sale trends budget management reaching commercial goals and a detailed understanding of P&L
  
• Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public.
