Teamworx is recruiting for a Retail Manager to join one of Irelands most successful convenience store groups in Munster.

A progressive retail business with great vision and standards in their stores they have gone from strength to strength.

As the Store Manager your role will be to manage a team of around 20 staff in a modern progressive retail shop and uphold the high standards expected of the client who is a national awardwinning retail group. As the manager you have full autonomy and operational control of this store HR including hiring training and motivating all teams to ensure maximum profitability and get the best from your store.

Responsibilities for this Store Manager Job:

Ensure the site runs efficiently and smoothly.

Ensure store standards across the shop are maintained.

As a manager looking at areas to improve and manage costs without affecting service or store standards

Work with internal stakeholder management such as the head of HR and resourcing team to attract and retain the best staff for your site talent spotting coaching and developing your team

Generating financial reports analysing store figures and reporting any discrepancies to the relevant department/Regional team.

Take full care of Health & Safety and food safety make regular assessments and follow up on action plans

Requirements for this Grocery Retail Store Manager Job:

Proven experience in a management position ideally within a grocery retail or convenience store setting.

Proficient knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Excel Word).

Experience in cash management till management and cash office would be an advantage but not essential.

Excellent communication skills.

Highly driven with a strong work ethic.

Familiar with budgets KPIs and targets.

Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public.
