Job Description:

• Seeking an experienced Properties Manager/Developer with a retail background for our Properties Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify new retail sites and expansion opportunities for Our Client Group brands in SA and neighboring countries.
  
• Negotiate prime locations in malls new retail developments or towns for all Our Client Group brands.
  
• Collaborate with teams for new store proposals and feedback.
  
• Prepare feasibility studies for each store to evaluate market potential and merchandise mix.
  
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions.
  
• Ensure timely lease renewals and compliance.
  
• Resolve store maintenance issues and landlord queries.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary degree preferred (Financial Legal Property Management etc.).
  
• Minimum 10 years of experience in property development or retail property management.
  

Competencies:

• Strong negotiation skills.
  
• Ability to work under pressure.
  
• Effective written and verbal communication.
  
• Attention to detail.
  
• Understanding of lease terms and agreements.
  
• Resourceful and independent.
  
• Excellent time management.
  
• Numeracy and retail property principles understanding.
