As the Duty/Assistant Store Manager you will assist the Store Manager by helping manage a large team in this store by assisting in hiring training and motivating all teams and also taking responsibility for ensuring a high level of productivity growth in sales and effective management of costs This is a great opportunity for a driven individual who has future ambitions to become a Store Manager. This is a progressive retail business that is wellknown and has grocery retail stores nationwide.

The Requirements for this Grocery Assistant Manager Job:

• Proven experience in a management position within a fastpaced retail food grocery big box or convenience store setting is a must.
  
• Knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Excel Word).
  
• Experience in cash management till management and cash office would be an advantage but not essential.
  
• Previous experience managing big teams is vital for this Assistant Manager job
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
  
• Experience with back office management proficiency using epos technology to analyse sale trends budget management reaching commercial goals and a detailed understanding of P&L
  
• Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public.
