Research Analyst

Looking for a research analyst in vulnerability management solutions to assist in the competitive research analysis.

Key areas of focus:
Collecting data on consumers, competitors and consolidating information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
Compiling and analyzing statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
Provide competitive analysis on various other companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models and methods of operation
Research vulnerabilities related to checks being performed
Experience 3 to 7 years

Requirements:
Familiar with performing local and remote checks using - Nessus vulnerability scanner, Microsoft Defender Vulnerability management, Tanium, Qualys and Rapid7
Well versed in vulnerability management tools and terminology like CVE coverage, False-positive management, Compliance framework, Critical vulnerability response
Strong background in information security and understanding of vulnerability management tools
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate and work with others as part of the larger research team.
Proven Market Research Analysis experience
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent knowledge of databases and MS Office
Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
Strong analytical and critical thinking
Familiar with required Documentation for the competitive research
Excellent attention to detail and an innate sense of curiosity
Willingness to explore and learn
Bachelor's degree in CS (or related) or equivalent work experience
Useful Skills:
Experience with VMware ESXi and the vSphere client for creating and cloning virtual machines used for testing
Experience with Windows, Linux administration and AD configuration/administration
Good to have knowledge in Docker-containerization technologies & Cloud based technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google cloud
