About the role

This is an exciting role for a Finance professional who is ready for the next step. As the reporting specialist you will be responsible for the periodic and adhoc reporting (internal and external). You are able to explain the monthly variances and are able to translate those to financial opportunities and risks. Together with the other team members of the Accounting & Reporting department you make sure that the monthly business review captures the story behind the numbers and identifies areas for improvement or performs further analysis if needed. Furthermore you will be involved in the monthend close process for certain areas and will be responsible to maintain our financial databases and become a specialist in our financial system (Workday).

This is a diverse and challenging position that combines accounting reporting analytical and problemsolving skills to deliver desired results. Due to the continuous growth of the organization the tasks and duties of this role will evolve over time. You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and challenge yourself to take on additional projects and responsibilities as they present themselves.

What youll do

• Prepare monthly quarterly and yearly reporting. You will need to have a thorough understanding of the figures and the story behind them so you will be able to translate this into presentations for the Management Team Board & our investors;
• Assist in the preparation of the consolidated accounts prepared under IFRS;
• Assist in the monthend closing process;
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve data quality accuracy and allocation feeding into monthly reporting and budgeting processes;
• Strive for continuous improvements of processes (specifically related to automation of our report process) and reporting systems to enable efficient accurate and timely financial reporting as we continue to grow;
• Perform adhoc analysis and benchmarking as needed;

What youll bring

• You have a Bachelor degree in Finance
• Strong knowledge of Excel/Google sheets and able to work with large data sets;
• You have excellent quantitative and analytical skills;
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance (preferably accounting);
• You can work independently as well within the team;
• Ability to prioritize oriented to meet tight deadline on a consistent basis;
• You are reliable handson with and a focus on quality results;
• Fluent in English both written and verbal;

Our offices and way of working

We have sensational offices in Amsterdam Groningen Paris and our newest office in Lisbon. Most of our employees are within commutable distance of one of our office locations and enjoy a hybrid work model. This means we expect you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days roughly 40% of your working time to collaborate and connect with each other. The exception is of course if the job description specifically states that the role is 100% remote as some experts and sales positions are.
