Job Summary
The Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in the organization by collecting analyzing and presenting data to stakeholders to facilitate informed decisionmaking. This position involves extracting data from various sources organizing it into meaningful formats and generating reports that provide valuable insights into business performance and trends.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection: Gather data from multiple sources including databases spreadsheets and other systems
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends patterns and anomalies that can inform business decisions.
  • Report Generation: Develop and maintain reports dashboards and other analytical tools to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Data Visualization: Create visualizations such as charts graphs and tables to effectively communicate insights from the data.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy completeness and reliability of data used for reporting purposes.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested by management to address specific business questions or concerns.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT finance and operations to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Statistics Economics Computer Science or related field
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables macros and formulas
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven experience in data analysis reporting or business intelligence.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
