Remote Software Engineer (React, Redux, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML)

Turing.com is looking to hire a Software Engineer on behalf of a US-based company helping users unlock deals on popular tools for free. The selected candidate will be tasked with contributing to or owning a technical roadmap for the platform's front-end. The SaaS platform in the purchasing space is helping startups and early-stage companies to save money on software. Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver complete, robust, and interactive front-end experiences with full connection to the back-end API

• Ensure high performance on the web application and chrome extension

• Write tested, idiomatic, and documented code

• Coordinate the workflow between the team’s designers and other engineers on the team

• Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver robust and delightful products, continuing to keep a world-class experience

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer

• Demonstrable experience with React, Redux, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

• Own the full software development lifecycle - problem definition, planning, design, development, testing, deploy, bug-fixing

• Expertise in creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules

• Proficiency in dealing with React components, elements, and modules of core React and third-party packages

• Prior experience working on Chrome Extensions is nice to have

• Experienced in developing REST APIs is desirable

• Nice to have prior entrepreneurial experience or track record of working for a high-growth startup

• Detail-oriented and can keep up with timelines

• Ability to balance speed and quality when building

• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English

• Ability to learn quickly and receptive to feedback
