Turing is looking for a remote iOS Developer on behalf of a US-based company striving to enhance the intimacy of the brand-consumer relationship through patent-pending innovative technologies. The developer will be working closely with the CTO and responsible for developing and optimizing applications for the iOS platform. The company's AI technology makes relevant content-based suggestions to help users communicate better. It has managed to secure more than $50 mn during the Series B round of funding. This will be a full-time position and requires some overlap with the EST/PST time zones.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform
- Consistently write high-quality code
- Work closely with the other members of the multidisciplinary development team
- Build scalable, secure, and reliable systems while constantly exploring new ways to enhance the capabilities
- Push the boundaries of on-device natural language understanding
- Build beautiful user interfaces used by hundreds of millions of people around the globe
- Create SDKs that are flexible, bulletproof, and easy to integrate with
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of development experience in an iOS production environment
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective C
- Proficient Xcode debugging skills (breakpoint navigator, reading the memory graph)
- Experience profiling with Xcode
- Experience writing unit tests
- Familiarity with building and distributing SDKs is nice to have
- Nice to have some familiarity using Fastlane
- Previous experience using Cocoapods and Carthage is desirable
- Prior Android/Java experience is preferred
