Turing is looking for a remote Full Stack Engineer on behalf of a Silicon Valley-based company that utilizes proprietary technology and machine vision algorithms to detect major anomalies in the power sector. The developer will be responsible for creating mobile applications and performing other upgrades that will help facilitate a seamless user experience. The company preserves the powerline and grid inspections by leveraging modern technologies, analysis, and solid insights. It has managed to raise $1 mn+ in funding during the Seed round. This role requires some overlap with the PST time zone and will be a full-time position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help launch the existing platform on other devices (phones, tablets, etc.)
- Train, monitor, and analyze the performance of models
- Write clean, readable codes, perform unit and integration tests, troubleshoot and fix bugs to deliver high-quality solutions
- Manage the entire lifecycle of the product from design to documentation
- Design and implement best practices for maintainability
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
- Extensive experience working with JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, and REST APIs
- Sound knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, etc.
- Nice to have some experience with Python, React Native, and Firebase
- Database experience such as MongoDB is nice to have
- Prior experience working with AI/ML models and integrating them as APIs is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Good collaboration and interpersonal skills
