Adhoq is a digital performance advertising agency. We started in 2018 in Amsterdam Netherlands and now have remote international teams in different countries. We are mainly focusing on managing online marketing campaigns for our clients. We work with more than 70 clients globally and promote campaigns in 50 countries.

We help advertisers/agencies reach their customers easier and faster. To grow our Team we are looking for the Email Deliverability Specialist.

As an Email Deliverability Specialist you will be instrumental in enhancing the deliverability rates for our products email communications. This role demands a close collaboration with the Product Owner and the Technical Team ensuring a cohesive approach in our email marketing strategies. Your primary objective will be to improve the overall deliverability of our emails refine the tracking of key metrics such as open rates and enhance the performance of our email campaigns. Your expertise will drive better engagement and ensure that our messages reach their intended audiences effectively contributing significantly to the success of our product outreach initiatives.

Tasks

Responsibilities

• Email Campaign Management: Plan and execute email campaigns. Ensure emails are compliant with industry standards and best practices. Keep track of
• Deliverability Monitoring: Track key deliverability metrics such as bounce rates open rates clickthrough rates and spam complaints. Analyze trends and make datadriven decisions to improve performance.
• ISP Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and email service providers to ensure high deliverability.
• Spam Regulation Compliance: Ensure compliance with spam regulations (like CANSPAM GDPR) and keep updated with changes in email legislation.
• Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B testing on various elements of email campaigns to determine the most effective strategies for engagement and deliverability.
• Troubleshooting and ProblemSolving: Identify and resolve issues that affect email deliverability including blacklisting spam traps and other barriers.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on email performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Technology and Tool Management: Utilize email delivery tools and technologies effectively. Stay abreast of new trends and tools in email marketing.

Requirements

Required skills

• Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in email marketing or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of email marketing strategies and deliverability best practices.
• Familiarity with email marketing tools and software (like MailChimp SendGrid etc.).
• Knowledge of spam regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Technical knowledge of email authentication methods (SPF DKIM DMARC).
• Ability to work independently proactively and maintain a good structure.
