Release Manager

Essential Job functions

• Coordinating release schedule by ensuring efficient communication among development QA defect backlogs implementation infrastructure and Operations teams.
• Communicate release status to stakeholders using appropriate visuals and available collaboration tools.
• Create a process for communication between teams to ensure smooth handoffs from development to QA implementation and Ops.
• Systematically ensure Product Managers work with QA teams to update test cases.
• Work with respective teams to build and manage runbooks for deployment and operations.
• Track defects bugs incidents by team/product area and create a report/presentation for engineering leadership.
• Create a process to communicate new features in latest product build to QA & implementation teams.
• Help drive a culture of accountability & ownership across teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Previous experience in release management or coordination with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle. Prefer certification in project management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes version control systems and release management tools.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problemsolving skills to identify and resolve issues during the release process
