We are hiring a Registered Psychiatric Nurse for a private hospital in Dublin. Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Ethical obligation as well as accountability for delivering the best possible professional efficient and effective nursing care.
  • Practice nursing following the organizations policies and procedures as well as the professional code established by An Bord Altranais.
  • Assure the patient or residents physical psychological sociocultural spiritual and occupational requirements are met by providing safe custody precise documentation and medication delivery.
  • Create carry out and assess customized patient care plans inside the established practice framework.
  • Adopt a cooperative approach to patient care by coordinating the interventions and care given by other multidisciplinary team members.
  • Take part in support staff education training and clinical induction programs.
  • Ensure that the patient care records are correct and acceptable.
  • Observe the proper guidelines for authority inside the nursing management system.


Requirements

  • A Registered NMBI Nurse (eligible to register or hold An Bord Altranais).
  • Have postregistration experience as a nurse providing adult rehabilitative or communitybased mental health services.
  • Possess a track record of success in the field of significant and persistent mental health disorders and mental health rehabilitation.
  • Have the necessary skills and expertise such as a high degree of appropriateness and administrative management and clinical competencies.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Mental Health Commissions regulations.
  • Energetic person with a wealth of clinical experience managing a multidisciplinary team of physicians and a solid understanding of the principles and practices of clinical governance.
  • Capacity to oversee mentor instruct engage in the teaching/training/support process and play a major position in the practice education of student nurses and healthcare personnel
