Registered Nurse RN - Mother Baby

Duties: Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.Plans implements and documents nursing care based on patients needs.Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment planning intervention and evaluation.Develops implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.Initiates assessment based on the patients problems or needs the physicians medical diagnosis and the functional health framework.Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.Manages care of patients.Documents care based on standards of care and practice patient acuity and/or clinical priorities.Advocates for evidencebased practice care standards and supports adoption of evidencebased practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 3 years of Mother baby experience required. Nurses are LDRP trained meaning they can do L&D PP and nurseryPreferred Skills & Experience:N/A

Education: Required Education:ASN.Preferred Education:BSN.Required Certifications & Licensure:BLS must be AHA.ACLSAHA.NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license.Preferred Certifications & Licensure:N/A

Schedule Notes: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 3 x 12 hour shifts Weekends Required as Needed Holidays Required as Needed No OnCall Requirement Requirements: Nurses are LDRP trained meaning they can do L&D PP and nursery
