Overview:

Benelux Medical Staff a leading staffing agency is searching for a dedicated Acute Med Surgical having expertise in Neuro Telemetry and Neuro Surgical Services for a Fulltime position in Corpus Christi Texas. Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care for patients with neurological conditions including stroke seizures spinal injuries and postoperative care for neurosurgical procedures.
  
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments administer prescribed medications and monitor patient vital signs.
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records on care condition and progress.
  
• Participate as a primary nurse associate nurse or team leader in care planning and implementation.
  
• Direct and assist in carrying out safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
  
• Offer leadership and direction to support staff within the department fostering a culture of teamwork and quality.
  
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons and neurologists to enhance nursing care through education and guidance.
  
• Adhere to JCHAO Gold Standard care protocols for stroke patients and contribute to maintaining a culture of excellence.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Able to assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care.
  
• One year experience in nursing is preferred.
  
• Current Texas State RN License
  
• CPR (American Heart Association)
  
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer date
  
• EKG required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
  
• NIHSS required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
  

Benefits

• RN pay range $28.50 $46.40
  

• $3.50 evening after 7 pm
  
• $4.50 nights after 11 pm
  
• Night shift Hours: 7pm 7am
  
• $10K signon bonus
  
• $5K relocation if relocating
