Registered Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse

Location: Willmar MN

Duration: 13 weeks with 13 weeks extension

• Minimum of 2 years mental health and or substance use disorder experience.
• Active Minnesota Nursing License.

Position Description:

• Work cooperatively and participate as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team utilize personcentered thinking positive behaviour supports motivational interviewing and trauma informed care to prevent and respond to patient situations.
• Comply with all safety and health standards laws regulations policies procedures and protocols in order to ensure that all applicable environmental standards are met so that a safe clean humane environment is provided for all patients and staff.
• Provide personcentered trauma informed culturally sensitive professional nursing care so that the physical and emotional needs of each patient are met.
• Implement the treatment plan and document results of interventions to assist patients in accomplishing their individual goals.
• Facilitate the care and documentation of care of the patient from admission through discharge.
• Oversee and follow the medication administration policies and processes to ensure medications are delivered sagely and in accordance with all regulatory guidelines.
