Registered Nurse - Hospice

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated hospice team. We are committed to providing exceptional endoflife care to patients and their families and we are looking for nurses who share our passion for helping those in need.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or in residential facilities
• Assess and monitor patients conditions symptoms and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with hospice policies
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members including physicians social workers and chaplains
• Educate and support patients and their families on endoflife care symptom management and emotional support
• Document patient care and maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines including HIPAA and statespecific hospice regulations

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospice or palliative care
• Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate and supportive care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients families and healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy standards of care and endoflife issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
