Job Description:
We are currently in need of a dedicated driven Cardiac Care Unit Registered Nurse to be part of our outstanding team. As a specialized nurse you will assist in providing vital care of the highest level to critically ill or seriously injured patients in our CCU department. Likewise you will be trained extensively to treat patients who have undergone invasive surgery as well as those who have suffered heart attacks or strokes.
Moreover you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks that may include the following:
- Responding to medical emergencies
- Carrying out followup visits
- Performing diagnostic tests
Our ideal candidate will have a highly analytical mindset and a motivated team player along with possessing superb interpersonal and communication skills who will be responsible for administering personalized services to our valuable patients.
Responsibilities:
- You will perform and oversee care of patients with critical illness or injury utilizing the nursing process.
- Your role must possess strong assessment and clinical skills to oversee and care for patients with a multitude of disorders to include: Heart Failure Respiratory distress Sepsis Multisystem Organ Failure Neurosurgical Procedures Invasive Cardiac Procedures Trauma MI Strokes and other patients meeting ICU admissions criteria.
- You will excel at the following skills interpersonal communication leadership time management critical thinking and decision making.
- You will serve as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for wellcoordinated patient care.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a clinical setting.
- Active RN license within the State of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN preferred.
- BLS & ACLS Health Care provider (ONLY BLS is needed to start).
- Exceptional understanding of health information structures and technology.
- Exhibit brilliant empathy and communication skills.
- Experience in acute care nursing and ability to work in a stressful and emotional environment preferred.
- Available to work 12hour day and night shifts.
