Job Description

Job Summary:

  • To have overall responsibility for the productivity and profitability of the service engineers within the region.
  • Promote and adhere to safe working practices following all relevant safety guidelines regulations and procedures.
  • Regional responsibly for the delivery of all servicerelated activities (maintenance callouts and remedial works) and ensure KPI & SLA performance is adhered to.
  • Support contracts start up and mobilisation.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and compliance to industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • To drive KPI & SLA performance through working with the Service Hub.
  • To liaise with the labour controllers daily to maximise operational scheduling and control of engineers.
  • To drive a positive QHSE attitude and participation of the team (including but not limited to Hazard & Near Miss reporting).
  • Ensure the correct reporting of any Health & Safety incidents as per company policy and guidelines.
  • Audit engineers and promote excellent safe working practices in line with company client & industry guidelines.
  • To manage the development of the engineering team through regular reviews and the identification of training needs mentoring and support.
  • Promote positive CQR performance and drive engagement within the engineering team.
  • To be responsible for managing local HR issues including disciplinary recruitment and staff retention.
  • To have regular client facing meetings and ensure first class service delivery.
  • Monitor and drive client compliance across the region to ensure contractual fulfilment through the use of compliance tools and reports.
  • Understanding on regional and business fiscal targets.
  • Regular internal communications between different departments
  • To be available for out of hours escalation as per the agreed callout rota
  • Promote company culture & values.

Relevant Skills:

  • Proven knowledge of Fire & Security systems
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise workloads.
  • Understanding of Industry standards & regulations
  • Able to demonstrate excellent PC skills (including Excel / Word / Office)
  • Commercial awareness
  • Financial awareness
  • Understanding of ISO9001 ISO14001 ISO18001
  • People skills and management
  • Technical and organisational skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • Able to lead and motivate the team.

Experience:

Experience within the Fire & Security industry understanding industryspecific practices regulations and customer expectations.

A strong background in service delivery operations customer service is essential.
