This individual will leverage services to attain his/her sales quota including; Oracle Cloud Applications Data and Analytics and Managed Services.
A successful Sales Director has exceptional organizational skills; written and verbal communication skills and a strong desire to prospect and close new logo business. He/she is a highintensity hunter with a demonstrated track record of aggressively building a funnel and translating opportunities into orders.
Industry related selling experience and/or technical competency are required.
Responsibilities
Work in the specific industries of Industrial Manufacturing and High Tech
Complete all company required training but proactively seek and obtain the knowledge/capabilities to enable sales success in your market.
Understand and articulate (orally written PowerPoint presentation) the company value proposition into specific customer benefits
Build the sales funnel:
Cold lead development Working to identify suspect accounts in the sellers industry territory to target. Working with marketing to build relevant campaigns generate new leads and capture new accounts.
Warm lead development existing account expansion (crosssell and upsell) RFP responses former account recovery etc.
Most importantly network with Oracle teams in upmarket and Growth to gain leads and opportunities.
Meet/exceed sales quotas
Develop and engage with partners to accelerate sales
Attend training on sales techniques technology presentation skills.
Build business cases internally to ensure all solutions are profitable
Develop familiarity with our CRM and utilize as basis for: contact management database sales opportunity tracking sales forecast and report generation
Qualifications
5 years outside sales experience with consistent >100% quota attainment.
Outside sales experience in Oracle Cloud services required
Success translating customer goals into a sales strategy to support revenue achievement
Experience with developing and growing partner relationships with Oracle is required
BA/BS degree required or Associates Degree with 5 years of relevant work and industry experience
MBA desired
