Job Title: Recruitment Assistant
Location: Remote (PST Timezone)

Role Overview:
As part of our expansion plans we are seeking a motivated Recruitment Assistant to join our HR team and support our hiring efforts.

As a Recruitment Assistant you will play a crucial role in facilitating the recruitment process by assisting with various administrative tasks and coordinating candidate communications. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels screening resumes and conducting initial assessments to ensure a qualified candidate pool for our hiring needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Job Posting and Sourcing: Assist in posting job advertisements on various platforms and job boards.
  • Resume Screening: Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications skills and experience. Identify candidates who meet the requirements outlined in job descriptions and evaluate their fit for specific roles.
  • Initial Assessments: Conduct preliminary screenings or assessments to evaluate candidate suitability for specific roles. Gather relevant information about the candidates background experience and career goals.
  • Candidate Communication: Communicate with candidates via email or phone to schedule interviews provide feedback and gather additional information as needed. Maintain professional and respectful communication throughout the screening process.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and uptodate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Track recruitment metrics and prepare regular reports on recruitment activities. Document screening outcomes feedback and recommendations for further evaluation by hiring managers.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team including organizing meetings managing calendars and handling correspondence.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate preferences. Provide regular updates on candidate screening progress and recommend qualified candidates for interviews.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a recruitment coordination or administrative role is desirable but not required. Candidates with strong analytical skills and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with candidates and team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess candidate qualifications and match them to job requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing resumes and conducting assessments. Ability to accurately evaluate candidate qualifications and provide feedback.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HRIS software is an advantage.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to overall team success.
