Overview:

The Recruiter plays a crucial role in identifying attracting and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This position is essential for driving the companys growth and success by ensuring that the best candidates are selected to fill open positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms job boards)
  • Screen resumes and application forms
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods
  • Assess applicants relevant knowledge skills soft skills experience and aptitudes
  • Onboard new hires
  • Promote companys reputation as a great place to work
  • Maintain candidate databases
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships
  • Network and build longlasting relationships with potential candidates
  • Set hiring goals (e.g. quarterly and annual)
  • Keep uptodate with current recruiting methods
  • Attend job fairs and career events
  • Prepare and distribute assignments and numerical language and logical reasoning tests
  • Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter
  • Experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone structured group)
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and hiring best practices
  • Handson experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing reference check etc)
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured competencybased behavioral)
  • Familiarity with HR databases Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decisionmaking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting hiring goals
  • Experience with sourcing techniques
  • Knowledge of sourcing and recruiting techniques
  • Understanding of employer branding and sourcing platforms
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
