Radiographer X Ray Tech

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops, and organizes films.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

Must have experience Must be an experienced ARRT (R) Certified X ray/ Rad Tech with at least 1 year of experience

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Required: State of Florida HRS Licensure as a General Radiographer ; ARRT Registration (R); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

SHIFTS:

Days/ NightsOn call YES - On call pay: $3

Must live within 30 MINS of the hospital for call

SALARY:
Salary range: $21.53 - $27.10
Sign On : $5K
Relocation: Case by Case, requires HR approval
