R and D Researcher

Our client an international AI Data Company with offices in Asia Europe and the US is expanding their Greater Los Angeles operation. Their mission is to connect people with data through accelerated AI solutions and they are working to solve the data challenges of some of the most complex challenges of our time: Autonomous Driving Defense Smart Cities Robotics and Security to name a few.

They are seeking an experienced R and amp;D Researcher to add to their growing team. This is a directhire opportunity that offers excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

Role:

You will work with an R and amp;D team to develop prototypes for neural networks and pipelines for various applications such as 2D 3D object detection 2D 3D segmentation Synthetic data generation Sensor fusion (Camera LiDAR) and document and summarize progress through scientific papers and present your findings at conferences for Electric Vehicles

Requirements:

• Authoring scientific papers for international journals and conferences.
• Active participation in weekly meetings with an international team.
• Education: A Bachelors degree in machine learning computer science or informatics from a prestigious university plus a minimum of one year of related work experience.
• Work Experience: Involvement in at least one deep learning application project.
• A thorough understanding of image processing and computer vision (knowledge of the OpenCV library is essential).
• Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch preferred).
• Exceptional programming ability and problemsolving skills.
• Experience with a Linux operating environment.
• Availability for international business travel.

Preferred Skills and amp; Qualifications:

• A Masters degree or higher in machine learning computer science or informatics from a leading university complemented by relevant work experience.
• A doctoral degree in a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of various deep learning architectures including CNNs GANs Transformers and Diffusion Models.
• Practical experience with simulation/rendering software like Blender.

Compensation: Up to $250k depending on Education and amp; experience. and nbsp;
