Overview:

The QuickBooks Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records by utilizing the QuickBooks software. This position is instrumental in ensuring that financial data is organized uptodate and easily accessible for financial reporting and decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks software.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process and reconcile company payroll using QuickBooks Payroll.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to support decisionmaking.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
  • Handle vendor and customer communications related to financial transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.
  • Train and support staff in using QuickBooks and related financial systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements related to QuickBooks and financial reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  • Certification in QuickBooks or equivalent demonstrable expertise.
  • 2 years of experience working with QuickBooks software.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Experience with payroll processing using QuickBooks Payroll.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Expected hours: 20 40 per week
