Quantity Surveyor

Aishwarya Estimators a start up Consultant Engineering firm working on USA based projects only in Hyderabad TS India is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for accurately estimating and managing the costs of construction projects from the initial budgeting stage to the final account.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review cost estimates for construction projects including materials labor and equipment costs
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the quantity of materials needed
• Develop and maintain cost databases and cost control systems
• Monitor project progress and costs and provide regular reports to the project team
• Identify and evaluate potential costsaving measures
• Prepare and negotiate contracts change orders and other projectrelated documents
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications
• Collaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Keep uptodate with industry trends standards and regulations
• Provide guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors and other team members
• Complete BOQs for various materials required from plans in PDF and ACAD formats
• Make correction to plans using AUTOCAD/MICROSTATION
• Create submittal register reading specs
• Shade and count quantities
• Transmittal cover sheets and integrating submittals

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
2. Minimum of 2 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
3. Strong knowledge of construction materials methods and techniques
4. Proficient in cost estimating and budgeting software
5. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
10. Eloquence in ENGLISH is MUST
