Job Description: Quality Inspector

Pay Rate will be BR/hr.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY. (Required)
1. Project purpose. The Quality Inspector will perform activities related to process of inbound and/or outbound activities in the Distribution Center. They will ensure inventory accuracy within the processing areas/system and process quality. They will also develop and delivery process training to existing personnel as required.
2. CTQ business requirements. Ensure inventory control accuracy and delivery quality above 95%.
B1 Support Provide process support to the distribution center as required.
B2 Process Training Partner Distribution Center leadership to coordinate process trainings and site implementations of improvements.
C1 Process analysis Review existing processes and analyze where waste and process gaps are.
C2 Process Improvement Plan Develop and provide a presentation on the overall process improvement plan required to meet 95% accuracy key performance
C3 Process Training Documentation Develop and deliver process training for process improvements or other defined gaps.
C4 Weekly report Provide updates to leadership team weekly on project status and utilize a Rolling Action Item List to track activity.

Job Purpose:
Key interface of quality team to operations/Technical team.
Acts as focal point on Shop floor for maintaining services products and process quality standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety precautions and PPE requirements.
Adhere to all 5S practices keep work areas clean and organized.
Complete workstation audits for
Picking processes
Packing workstations
Truck and container loading
Follow up on Corrective Action execution.
Unknown part investigations.
RMA and return to stock processing.
Support NCMR and stop ship quarantine processes.
Support NonConforming Material process.
Other duties may be assigned depending on business needs

Physical Demands:
Employee is required to stand for majority of daily work with minimal breaks.
Employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Employee is regularly required to see and observe small handwriting labels and components.
Requires daily facetoface interaction with employees on production line.
