Quality Engineer

Local to Cincinnati OH only. Mondays and Wednesdays onsite

This QA resource will be supporting Next Generation Point of Sale (NGPOS) within the Customer Experience pillar. They will be working closely with the teams current Technology Engineer on a daily basis.

Must haves:

• 5 years of QA experience
• Karate API automation interfacing with API MUST HAVE must be able to talk about their specific experience using Karate.
• MQ/Kafka nice to have
• Experience working with CI tools (GitHub Actions Jenkins TeamCity GitLab etc.)
• Experience with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Proficient in defect tracking and analyzing root cause utilizing tools ( Jira Rally etc.)
• Strong understanding of automation and performance concepts and approaches .
• Experience working with or on remote teams
• Understand and utilize risk based testing technique
• Experience in test environment and test data management

Plus:

• 3 years of handson automation testing of integration web services ( REST and SOAP protocols) that include database validations using tools like ( CA Dev Test Karate API automation Postman SOAP UI Pro etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in XML XSD XPath MQTT Topics HTTP HTTPS JSON Bytes array message format or Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)
• Experience in SOA frameworks processes strategies and approaches
• 2 Java/JavaScript programming (and Selenium) is a plus
