Job Description:

The Quality Control Inspector will ensure adherence to the ISO9001 Quality Management System while meticulously maintaining and updating Quality System Manuals. Conducts thorough inspections of incoming materials and hardware meticulously verifying dimensions using a variety of measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Records all inspection findings meticulously ensuring accuracy and completeness. Implements a comprehensive calibration system meticulously marking and logging all measuring equipment and conducting regular calibrations to uphold precision standards. Facilitates seamless traceability and transfer of identification information while diligently managing departmental paperwork. Demonstrates expertise in precision inspection techniques and shop math skills including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure the highest quality standards are consistently met. Operates Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) proficiently to further enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 record keeping and internal audits. Experience managing an ISO9001 Quality Management System. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Access). Must be able to read and write English and follow verbal instructions.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Metal Fabrication Machining Welding. Experience with computercontrolled measuring equipment.
