Qatar - Onsite - IT Security Architect

• Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures that align with the organizations business objectives.
• Design and review security solutions ensuring they meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize security risks and implement effective risk management practices.

• Develop update and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations adapting security policies as needed.

• Oversee the implementation of security infrastructure including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems VPNs and endpoint security solutions.
• Work closely with the IT team to integrate security measures into existing infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain an incident response plan.
• Lead investigations into security incidents providing timely and thorough reports on findings and recommendations.

• Conduct security awareness programs for employees to enhance their understanding of security risks and best practices.
• Provide training to IT staff on securityrelated technologies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and update security measures accordingly.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate security into all aspects of the organization.
• Communicate complex security concepts to nontechnical stakeholders effectively.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field.
• 56 years of experience in IT security roles with a focus on architecture and design.
• Certifications such as CISSP CISM or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Indepth knowledge of security frameworks standards and best practices.
• Strong understanding of network security encryption identity and access management and cloud security.
