Job Title: QA/QC Analyst
Job Type: Contract/Fulltime
Pay: $20$23
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00am5:00pm
Location: Houston TX 77040 (InPerson Role)

Smarter HR Solutions is seeking a wellorganized and detail oriented candidate to fill our QA/QC Analyst position. This role will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring quality assurance and quality control activities for the eligibility of disaster recovery clients and projects. The ideal QA/QC Analyst candidate must have experience working with Disaster Recovery grant funded programs 1year experience operating in a office/administrative setting and knowledge of quality assurance and quality control policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reviews data submitted by both the Housing and Infrastructure section for completeness consistency and accuracy.
  • Ensures case files meet program guidelines and all applicable government regulations.
  • Responsible for the accurate submittal of all applicable setups change orders and documents in accordance with the Texas General Land Offices requirements.
  • Ensures client and project files meet program guidelines and applicable government regulations.
  • Reviews and generates weekly reports.
  • Ensures data is inputted into DR Software Caseworthy/RecoveryTrac and GLO Software TIGR accurately.
  • Identifies problems and offers resolutions.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.





Requirements

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Windows Excel Access PowerPoint and Word software.
  • Excellent verbal interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Selfstarter and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrate an outstanding level of professionalism in providing administrative support.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment discretion tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills with ability to analyze situations.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail to maintain quality control over assignments and produce errorfree work.
  • Ability to learn applicable software programs.
  • Ability to read and interpret regulations pertaining to the administered programs.
  • Valid drivers license reliable transportation and liability insurance.
Preferences:
  • Associates Degree
  • One (1) year experience working in an office setting.
  • Experience working with programs funded with HUDs Community Development Block Grant program and/or FEMA disaster recovery funds.
Environmental & Physical Requirements:
  • The work is primarily sedentary with occasional required travel to training events or meetings.
  • The work is performed in a professional office setting.
  • No special safety precautions are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and stand as necessary.
