Responsibilities
- Analyze CD related change requests and specifications to create test cases supplement and improve existing testing where applicable.
- Execute tests to find defects in features or products. Isolate and confirm defects and work with developers to prioritize defects and fix them.
- Validate the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardware.
- Log defects in database for tracking and reporting.
- Provide accurate evaluation of defect priority and tracking its whole life.
- Review and test product documentation.
- Create automation testing case monitor automated tests results and contribute to improve their coverage.
- Monitor customer newsgroups and beta forums to detect product installation and license related defects in production software answer questions from users and monitor users feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or above degree in Computer Science related fields
- Good written and oral English
- At least 2 year of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with manual and automated testing.
- Good problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Use a variety of testing tools and techniques including manual and automated testing to identify and report software defects.
- Quick learning new skillsets
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of software installation technology various of OS platform
- Knowledge of software development project and lifecycle familiar with agile development process
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and C#
- Experience in Jenkins pipelines (Groovy scripting PSL)
- Understanding software delivery and related technologies
