Job description of FMCG QA/QC Manager
Job title: QAQC Manager
Department: Quality assurance & Quality control

Matrix: Factory Manager Director.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and resultsoriented QA/QC Manager to oversee all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for our FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) products. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards comply with all regulatory requirements and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant standards (e.g. ISO 22000 HACCP).
Lead the QA/QC team in conducting inspections audits like BRC USFDA HALAL KOSHER etc. and analyses of raw materials inprocess products and finished goods.
Manage and maintain quality control documentation including control charts test reports and nonconformance reports.
Identify and investigate quality issues implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure their effectiveness.
Collaborate with R&D Production and other departments to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Stay up to date on industry regulations and standards and ensure compliance through training and implementation.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize quality risks.
Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
Develop and deliver quality awareness training to staff.
Prepare and manage QA/QC budgets.

Quality Management System (QMS) Effectiveness: Ensure the QMS is implemented effectively and contributes to consistent product quality.

Product Quality: Maintain a high level of product quality with minimal deviation from specifications and zero product recalls.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations and standards.
4.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
5.
Team Performance: Lead and develop a highperforming QA/QC team.
6.
Cost Management: Manage QA/QC activities within budget.
7.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate quality risks.
8.
Training & Development: Deliver effective quality awareness training programs.
9.
Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and complete QA/QC documentation.
10.
Reporting & Communication: Provide clear and concise reports on QA/QC activities to senior management.

Number of nonconformances identified and resolved.

Customer complaint rate.

Audit findings and corrective action implementation rate.

Percentage of products meeting quality specifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in science Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the FMCG industry.
Strong understanding of Quality Management principles and practices (e.g. Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing).
Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software (desirable).
Experience with relevant regulatory requirements (a plus).
