QA Performance Engineer

Job Duties: Coordinating and managing all testing activities assigned by the Performance & Automation Team Lead, including task planning and estimation, status reporting, metrics collection, developing test summaries and risk analysis; Working closely with QA Engineers, Developers, Architects and Database Administrators in an Agile (Scrum) environment to create meaningful performance tests; Writing Performance test cases, plans, Test Scripts and test harnesses as required; Maintaining and updating the Performance test strategy; Utilizing LoadRunner, MS Test Manager and custom C scripting to record and execute scripts; Employing Load Runner protocols (Adobe Flex/RIA, COM/DCOM); Programming and scripting using C, C#, Java Script and VB Script; Providing Performance testing assistance to Development and Technical Operations community by performing tuning activities for various hardware, operating systems, network and application troubleshooting and analysis initiatives; Reviewing existing manual tests and analyze where Performance testing will provide maximum return on investment (ROI); Reporting issues via defect tracking application and coordinating with developers and Project Managers on resolution; Participating in business and technical requirement reviews for assigned projects; Performing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins; Performing End-to-End Testing, Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, Soak Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Messaging Services to further develop quality assurance performance parameters; Verifying that software and applications perform according to specifications, using C, SQL, Fiddler, Swagger, SoapUI, Postman, Git, GitHub, Atlassian, JSON, Stored Procedures, ; Conducting test case reviews with peers, Software Engineers and Development Managers; and Fostering a collaborative work environment encompassing all phases of software development. Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field and 5 years of progressive experience, or a Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field and 3 years of experience, in the job offered or a related role working in an Agile (Scrum) environment using C, SQL, Fiddler, Swagger, LoadRunner, SoapUI, Postman, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Atlassian, JSON, Stored Procedures, . 3 years of experience performing End-to-End Testing, Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, Soak Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Messaging Services.
