Thanks to the platform students dont have to visit the "oldschool" libraries anymore they can buy online either new or used books get digital ones or rent just before an exam.
The platform facilitates the preselection of course materials by teachers their delivery and also the adoption... so students don t have to hunt for materials on the lastminute anymore.
Thanks to lots of integrations with publishers and schools this company is the leader in online bookstore & marketplace services for educational institutions in the United States.
We re looking for an experienced QA Engineer who speaks Ukrainian or Russian to join the team 100% remote.
You will work with fellow software engineers in a crossfunctional environment to implement a quality product that meets the business goals and are expected to be selfmotivated proactive and a solutionoriented problem solver.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Work with the development team to ensure the software is well tested and defectfree
- Write automation test scripts
- Test frontend web and backend interfaces
Integrations on the backend include:
- Student information systems
- Learning information systems
- Payment integrations > gift cards vouchers ...
- Dozens of integrations with vendors & publishers
Requirements
MustHaves:
- Strong middlelevel skill
- 2 years of experience as a Manual/Automation QA
- Experience with Ruby & Ruby on Rails
- Experience with HTTP HTML AJAX JSON and clientserver architecture
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Strong Ukrainian or Russian language to communicate with developers daily
- Solid written and spoken English to engage with colleagues from the US
Nice To Haves:
- Experience with automated testing understanding of CI/CD systems and more is desirable.
- Experience with Writing automation test scripts using Cypress (in Typescript/JavaScript).
- Experience with Ghost Inspector and other automated tools is a huge plus.
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with JIRA TestRail
- Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu command line)
- Basic git knowledge
- Ability to understand application source code (PHP/Complex SQL queries)

- Do you have at least 23 years of professional experience in IT (different positions are OK)
- Do you have at least 2 year of experience with Manual/Automation QA
- Do you have experience with Ruby tech stack
- Do you speak Ukrainian or Russian
- Do you speak English and are comfortable interacting with colleagues from the US
- Are you based in Central or Eastern Europe
- Are you OK with work from 12pm to 8pm Kyiv time
