Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team in the stock broking industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing Pythonbased applications for financial systems such as trading platforms and risk management systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Pythonbased applications for the stock broking industry

Write clean maintainable and testable code

Work with crossfunctional teams to design build and ship new features

Collaborate with data scientists and quantitative analysts to develop and implement models for trading and risk management

Develop and maintain data pipelines and data processing tools

Optimize code for performance and scalability

Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application

Stay uptodate with the latest trends and technologies in Python development and finance

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field

3 years of experience in Python development

Solid understanding of core Python concepts and libraries (e.g. NumPy Pandas Flask)

Experience with data processing and analysis

Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL)

Understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns

Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Knowledge of financial concepts and instruments (e.g. stocks options futures) is a plus

Strong debugging and problemsolving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
