Our current engineering team provides a stateoftheart tailormade selfservice platform to help our clients to accelerate their growth and to manage their relationships.
In your new position you will be involved in shipping our software containerized to a k8s cluster on AWS. As a backend software engineer you are part of one of our two agile Teams and together with this team you will design and choose not only the best solution for your projects but also be able to estimate where technology will take you in the future.

Your mission

• You will extend and maintain one of the core products of bonrepublic
• You design implement and review code for an eventdriven RESTful web service
• You will support increasing test coverage by writing automated tests
• You improve code quality by refactoring proactively
• You document your work and actively communicate within the team
• You contribute to architectural decisions by proposing and reasoning about improvementsOur technology stack:

Your profile

• Agile Mindset
• Curious passionate and willing to learn and share
• Responsible careful way of working committed and fun working in a team
• 2 years of experience developing web APIs using Python
  • Django experience is highly appreciated
• Experience in developing RESTful web services
  and integrating them with external systems
• Familiarity with serviceoriented architectures e.g. microservices
• Experience in a Scrum development team ideally in an international distributed organization
• Fluency in written and spoken English (German appreciated)

Minimum Salary:

According to actual experience and in compliance with the Austrian ITKollektivvertrag 2024 (e.g. minimum compensation for Regelstufe ST2 of 60.844).

Individual experience and knowledge will be clearly honored in the real compensation package.

Actual salary:

Between EUR 61.000 & EUR 66.000 annual gross
depending on qualifications and experience.
