Purchasing Manager

• Placing orders with vendors
  
• Oversee Purchasing staff
  
• Oversee and manage inside purchasing staff
  
• Manage purchasing reports
  
• Setup New Vendors
  
• Work closely with in house expediting staff and customer service
  
• Comfort Negotiating pricing/delivery with Vendors VPA s
  
• Maintain inventory levels
  
• Office Management
  

Requirements

• Experience in Fasteners and/or Aerospace parts and distribution
  
• Knowledge of Certificate of Compliance and drawing interpretation
  
• Must have extensive knowledge of purchasing fasteners / aerospace parts
  
• Must have working knowledge of Excel Word Outlook
  
• Comfort working in an ERP system
  
• Motivated with strong analytical skills
  
• Ability to manage and follow up on multiple concurrent tasks requests on tight deadlines
  
• Ability to research information on the internet with ease
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
