Property Manager

Were looking for a Property Manager for our client University Property. The location for this position is Richmond VA.

About University Property

University Property is a fastgrowing early stage private equity backed real estate investment and management company focused on multifamily housing in state university communities. Their property portfolio is presently in Richmond VA and Greensboro NC and they expect to add new geographies via acquisition in the coming years. Roles within the company are dynamic and will change as they grow complete acquisitions and undertake new projects. Primary Responsibilities

• Communication with customers (i.e. you will be the main point of contact residents in Richmond) on maintenance matters
  
• Management of maintenance staff and protocols
  
• Leading/bidding capital expenditure projects
  
• Overseeing vendors and vendor management
  
• Leading leasing and marketing
  
• Managing property income/expenses contributing to maximizing NOI (net operating income)
  
• Management of other staff in Richmond VA regarding their property management roles

Location

This position is in Richmond VA near the VCU campuses and is hybrid requiring the Property Manager to be on site at properties or in the office in Richmond VA on most days of the work week. The frequency of onsite work and necessary office work depends on the level of project work at each property and the time of year given the seasonality in our business.

Requirements

Real estate and property management experience are preferred but organizational interpersonal and general business sense and skills are most important. This position is ideal for someone who knows and enjoys commercial real estate but is an equally ideal position for someone interested in building a career in commercial real estate property and investment management. Ideal candidates will have 26 years of related work experience but candidates with less or more will be considered.
