The Electronic Instruments segment designs and manufactures analytical, test, and measurement instrumentation for the energy, aerospace, power, research, medical, and industrial markets. The Electromechanical segment provides automation and precision motion control solutions, as well as electrical interconnects, specialty metals, and thermal management systems.

Job Description:

The Project Technician assists Project Engineering department in administrative tasks including, but not limited to, submittals, documentation, and job order package creation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supports all Project Engineers and Project Managers on all aspects of a project.
Sales order entry for all engineered orders.
Maintaining of all design, production, and shipment dates in the EPR.
Document control functions such as document submittals, document receipt, and Final MRB creation as applicable.
Maintain documentation log for all incoming and outgoing transmittals.
Store, manage, and track all client documents including specifications and drawings.
Job order package creation including JIS, BOM take-off, and man-hour verification.
Issuance of specification sheets for job order release.
Scanning and filing of all returned job order packages from production.
Work with Project Engineers and Managers to assist in Preliminary Packing List creation.
Serve as expeditor to Project Engineering and liaison between customer and production on expediting requests.
Complete thermal analysis take-off requests.
Close out of non-shippable job orders.
Final close out of project.
