Job Description

As a Project Manager specializing in the insurance industry you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering projects that support the organizations strategic objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to ensure that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management as well as a deep understanding of the insurance industry and its unique challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation through closure including project planning execution monitoring and control.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans schedules and budgets and track progress against established metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage project resources including internal team members external vendors and consultants.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings workshops and status updates.
  • Communicate project status progress and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct postproject reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in the insurance industry.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or related field.
  • 35 years of experience in project management with a focus on the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Experience with insurancespecific software and systems is a plus.
