Job Title: Project Manager – BackOffice

Location: Remote – Must be based in the DMV metro area (DC Maryland Virginia)


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and optimize backoffice operations for our client. The Project Manager will be responsible for hiring and managing offshore teams dedicated to supporting various backoffice tasks. The primary goal of this project is to enhance operational efficiency reduce costs and maintain highquality standards in backoffice operations.


Responsibilities:

Team Management:
    • Recruit onboard and manage offshore teams dedicated to backoffice tasks.
    • Implement best practices to ensure seamless transition and integration of offshore teams into the client’s operations.
    • Provide leadership guidance and support to ensure team members meet project objectives and deadlines.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.

Operational Optimization:
    • Analyze current backoffice processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
    • Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
    • Ensure the delivery of highquality results while meeting cost reduction targets.

Client Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the client to understand their specific requirements and expectations.
    • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.
    • Collaborate with the client to implement changes and improvements based on feedback.

Task Management:
    • Oversee and coordinate various backoffice tasks including:
      • Data entry functional task processing and data management.
      • Document processing and management.
      • Email management and customer support.
      • Accounting and bookkeeping services.
      • Human resources administration (e.g. payroll processing employee record management).
      • Other administrative tasks as required.

Quality Assurance:
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the team meets quality standards.
    • Implement quality assurance processes to identify and address issues promptly.
    • Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and efficiency in task execution.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to the client on project status key metrics and performance improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in project management specifically managing offshore resources.
  • Strong understanding of backoffice operations and best practices for optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project plans budgets and timelines.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% during discovery phase and to attend required client training.
