Project Lead 2

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position performs IT Project Management duties in support of TIERS Data Center Services and Operations. This position reports to the Director of HHSC IT DCS&O TIERS Operation. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of independent judgment. Performs consultative work providing program guidance status reporting works with various level of management understands IT procurement procedures and budget forecast/analysis. Responsibilities include consultation with many aspects of the TIERS Infrastructure and Operations team. IT project management includes managing continual costbenefit / savings analysis and operation action plans. Provides increased visibility into the allocation of TIERS DCS project resources; funds hardware and software; Reviews critical operational initiatives and regulatory documents. Tracks budgets versus actuals. Prepares and track security exemption request. Prepares canned and ad hoc performance reports to TIERS DCS and HHSC management. Assist in developing agency computer operations and management information systems budgets. Works with TIERS Director on fiscal and budget management supporting Data Center Services infrastructure and operations.
