About the Client:

About The Job*

This position is created to drive and manage global programs in Asia for a retail key account. It forms an integral part of the global account management effort to develop business partnerships with the account.

This position should proactively identify opportunities to improve SOP service performance KPI drive vendor compliance and develop new initiatives in alignment with the accounts business and supply chain strategies.

It is important that this position works very closely with the customers key stakeholders and client internal teams to ensure overall program effectiveness. This position falls under the Global Key Account organization. Having knowledge and experience in retail logistics is a definite advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities*

Program Management

  • Take lead to ensure service performance compliance and KPI meet and exceed customers expectations
  • Actively engage with client Global and Regional Account team to indirectly drive operational efficiencies in countries develop strategic initiatives to achieve ongoing account development goals
  • Timely address operation issues conduct root cause analysis with corrective/preventive actions. Rollout improvements and share best practices with global origins to ensure consistency of performance and overall improvement of KPI
  • Conduct regular performance review with internal stakeholders and external customers to Identify opportunities offer recommendations for process improvement and/or upsell services and products. This reviews requires preparation of reports utilising tools including but not limited to Excel Tableau power point and/or any templates deemed fit
  • Leverage on technology and engage with relevant stakeholders to develop automation in processes and implement process improvements to enhance overall work processes
  • Being Champion lead for projects for KAM Region or Account assigned. Champion lead projects are normally related to customers KPI scorecards targets/goals expected of LSPs.
  • Manage customer programs including but not limiting to EDI projects Vendor Compliance projects and customer factory LSP related projects
  • Act as focal point in Asia support global team on regular business review drive origin KPI and scorecard performance continuously identify opportunities for improvement develop solutions and proposals as and when needed.
  • Followup with origins and relevant BU on day to day queries from customers identify gaps and ensure timely responses
  • Develop best practices and innovative ideas to the global account program
  • Develop manage and monitor new program implementation including providing training to origin teams.
  • Develop with tableau team dashboards for customer key measurements. Utilise these dashboard to drive performance

Key Account Management/Development

  • Support response to RFP/RFQ and work with the global account team to prepare service proposals.
  • Identify opportunities in existing accounts and work with relevant parties to develop solutions and proposal to customers
  • Support Commercial and Global Account team to develop and execute account growth strategies
  • Prepare Customer engagement/pursuit plans and storyboards during visits
  • Identify and develop sustainability programs in day to day operations and work with relevant teams to implement in countries
  • Managing AR directly with customer or indirectly with countries

Qualification*

Diploma holder and degree holder with relevant experience

Requirements*

  • Minimum 57 years experience in international logistics preferably with experience in country operations and managing global accounts
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relationships at various levels
  • Strong acumen to adopt & adapt new information processes and technologies
  • Address problems and gaps with a curious and analytical mindset coupled with a strong passion in driving and achieving service excellence
  • Able to travel to countries (when traveling is allowed and deemed safe) for customer related visits
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft programs including excel (advance level) powerpoint
